About Summer Glen Design

Since I was a child, I have been transforming spaces. My first “clients” were my dolls, of course, whose rooms I meticulously designed, rearranged, and redecorated until every tiny detail felt just right. I didn’t know it then, but I was already tapping into something we now understand more clearly: our surroundings can have a meaningful impact on our emotions, productivity, and overall well-being.

As time went on, that natural instinct never faded. I became a trusted source for loved ones and clients alike, whether it was redesigning a room, selecting the perfect color palette, or designing events that felt cohesive and inviting. I began to realize that what felt effortless to me (seeing how individual elements could work together to create harmony in a space) was something others deeply valued.

Today, through Summer Glen Design, I bring that lifelong passion to homes in Sioux City, Iowa, and the surrounding region. I offer personalized interior design services for new construction, remodels, and furnishing projects throughout Sioux City and nearby communities, including Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, with select projects extending across the greater Siouxland and tri-state area.

I create interiors that are not only beautiful, but deeply attuned to the people who live in them. From the colors on the walls to the textures underfoot, each decision is considered in relation to the way a space needs to look, feel, and function in everyday life.
